Superfriends bids farewell to the football season

Superfriends delivered its last football-themed performance last night at the Wharf, Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya last night - yep, diorang pun kena extra time gak - all in style as Italy takes the coveted Cup home and the touted-to-win France suffered the same fate as the rest of the favourites in the 2006 FIFA World Cup final in Germany.

As Apiz the front-man nurses his bleeding heart over Brazil's untimely exit and Zham dreams on a Malaysian appearance in 2010 World Cup final in South Africa, Siti once again astound friends over her uncanny ability to pick winners. The keyboardist who successfully predicted the Greek's triumph in Euro 2004 stuck to her all-time favourite team, Italy this time and her loyalty paid off...

^ Siti knew I had vowed not to watch the live game in order not to jinx it, hence the post-it note on my bedroom door. I'll be catching the re-run soon, just to watch the Zinedine Zidane zap and of course, Zambrotta and co in action.
