Rockin' HRC
If you've been following the recent kemeriahan that happened in one of my earlier posting (check out the comments section that comes under TGIF! And where to go but... ), you'll know that I was there at Hard Rock Cafe last couple of weeks - actually I decided to go hit the city on that particular Sunday instead of the most recent one just to avoid the Indonesian bands' wave of crowd thronging the golden triangle for a glimpse of Dewa 19 in Planet Hollywood and all that.
* And more importantly our dear friend Intan was struggling to put together a little surprise birthday wish for her sister, Shila that nite - so there I was, along with other friends, Niza, Niza and Sheila to help Intan pull it off. However thanks to Superfriends along with the friendly staff of HRC the last minute surprise gimmick went well.
So once again, Happy Birthday Shila!
^ There's Niza, Intan and Shila posing with the little cake thingy - one candle lets the age remains a mystery.
^ Here's the frontline rockin' the crowd, and Nadya still could not get Intan to sing! But Intan snapped this photo though, so nite's not lost after all!
^ Here's them dok tertoleh-toleh ke kiri every now and then to check if their mixers work. Must first please their own ears ma! But then again it could be that they're checking if the crowd at the back's jumpin along or not...
^ I rarely get the chance to get a good photo of Sham the drummer, this time the angle is right but he's flicking his head to his left ever so often that his head still looks blur.. but give up I haven't! There'll be next time!
^ Last to leave are the bandmembers with the most stuff to unplug, pack up and carry back!
As he was tidying up Sham claims some of the equipment he works with doesn't work as he wants them to. "Tahlah Siti, dia tak suka aku kot?" LOL! That's Sham challenging his equipment to behave on the next show, if you must know. Told ya it's a long learning process to make things like this work.
* If you suspect there are name repetitions or name spelling typos above, let the record show that there were two Nizas, one Shila (birthday girl) and one Sheila attending the show that nite.
