The Saturday before last

It's been a while since I've graced a club and hang out with friends. About two Saturdays ago, I managed to drag my butt out of my mundane schedule and meet up with Gigi-lover Jyja and her family for a dose of Superfriends.

True to their word, the mee kolok at Borneo Rainforest is worth ordering. Too bad we all came in a bit later than planned, most of the kitchen items are no longer available for order.

Anyway back to the music - I am glad to finally catch the new singer in action. Will post a video of that in my next post. Meantime, here's us having fun!

^ First I bumped into pals Ijoy and Niza inside - man were they ready for the camera or what! I like it when people appreciate me taking their shots like this duo did :)

^ After the first set we got seats outside where we can still hear Superfriend's music and eat! So on the far left next to Zham is Iskandar and to Siti's right is his half, Jyja and their son, Johan. FYI Johan attended Gigi's gig when he was a mere foetus.

If last month our gal Syima graced us with her presence and R&B-fused vocals, this month be prepared to hear a new voice and some fresh drum rolls alongside our favourite band, Superfriends.

Yep, yep, change of line-up again. Since the band will be moving their gig to a new town across the sea in June, the new vocalist and drummer will replace Syima who could not travel due to commitments in KL.

In any case, Superfriends will still rock! See you all in Borneo Rainforest ya...
